Rogue Fantasy

Team Project - Design, Programming, Art
Tools Used: Unity, Aseprite, PixelFX
Project Goals: Create a roguelike RPG drawing from Final Fantasy I in the NES style, learn a no-outline pixelart style to master sprite readability, make a project from scratch.
Time span: 2 months

This is a personal project I am currently working on in spare time. It is a roguelike turn-based RPG inspired by the likes of the earliest NES Final Fantasy games. I worked with sound designer Morgan Smith to produce the sound effects for the game. I managed the priority of each of his tasks to help meet deadlines for his own work and provided feedback so we could achieve the best results possible. I designed the systems and did all of the programming for the game, as well as most of the art assets - this includes the custom font.
The assets I did not make are the mushroom enemy (by raystrashcan on Instagram), campfire and audio.
